| Mt. Diablo Adult Education's woodworking program at the Pleasant
Hill campus is one of the oldest such programs in Northern California.
It is staffed with experienced instructors who bring a wide variety of skills to the program. The wood shop
is well equipped with all the power and hand tools necessary to
complete a wide range of projects - from the simple to the highly
complex. Work shop safety is fundamental to the ciriculum. The
program's safety record is unsurpassed. At present over twenty courses are offered for beginning and advanced woodworkers. Courses are taught Monday through Saturday both during the day and in the evenings. Class size is generally limited to 16 to 18 students.
